I. JOB TITLE
Open Society Forum Manager
Responsibilities:
The Open Society Forum Manager is responsible for initiating, developing, implementing, and coordinating activities of OSF related to promoting citizen participation in civic life, and is responsible for ensuring that the program strategy is addressed to the Mongolia priority needs in this field, promotes long-term, lasting improvement in the program area. The Manager is the primary person responsible for achievement of program goals and objectives, and coordination the program with other programs and organizations. The Manager will closely work with other managers of OSF and Open Society Institute (Soros Foundation) network partners and regional staff, and will primarily report to the Executive director of OSF.
Required qualifications:
· Prior experience, knowledge and interest in civic participation field;· Experience with program development and organizational growth;· Strong organizational and planning skills;· Experience with participatory approaches;· Discretion and ability to handle confidential issues and work under pressure;· Ability to communicate with all levels of staff verbally and in writing;· Excellent English language and computer skills; · University degree in social sciences, Master degree is preferred
· Citizen of Mongolia
