Dear U.S. Alumnus,

We are pleased to invite you to the First National Conference of U.S. Alumni of Mongolia, October 28, 2006, organized by the Educational Advising and Resource Center and U.S. Embassy in Ulaanbaatar.

The main purpose of organizing this National Conference of US Alumni is to provide the US alumni with an opportunity to network, to raise public awareness on US Graduates. We already received the first initiatives from the alumni to set up a Scholarship Fund to support bright yet financially disadvantaged students from rural areas of Mongolia in coming to the best high schools in Ulaanbaatar and preparing for scholarship programs overseas. Interested alumni can take part in this campaign.

We all know that the value of the academic and personal experience from our studies in the USA in our professional advancement and personal growth is too much. The US higher education, one of the best in the world, is not only the major asset of our career but also is the torch to our future progress.

Therefore, we would like to raise a public awareness on how many and how educated resources Mongolia has now. If you agree with these goals, please come to the conference. Do not lose this opportunity to meet with the American educated Mongolians like you to share your thoughts and ideas. You can participate in the conference in either way as a participant, or a presenter on topics such as “Networking opportunities for the US Alumni”; “The importance of US education and the possible ways that the Mongolian Government Can benefit from the US Educated Resources” and “Supporting the Rural Students’ Education”.

Online registration for the conference is available at www.earcmn.org/usalumni. If you are unable to register online, please fill in the registration form and send us back.

Yours Sincerely,

E. Ariunaa
