OPEN SOCIETY FORUM COORDINATOR

The coordinator will be responsible to coordinate activities of OSF and other civil society organizations in terms of their cooperation in the area of extractive industries transparency and government budget monitoring. Specifically, working under the direction of OSF manager, the coordinator will serve as a main liaison person among Publish What You Pay Mongolia Coalition (www.eiti.mn) and Citizens’ Oversight of Budgets Network (www.tusuv.mn) member organizations, provide technical and information assistance and plan and organize capacity building activities to member organizations, run the websites of the two entities,    This is a fixed (one year) term vacancy with a possible extension after one year.  General qualifications for the position:           

  1. Excellent communication and organizational skills
  2. Good knowledge and interest in mining sector and government budget issues
  3. Capacity to effectively plan and executive training, public dialog, information distribution activities
  4. Native Mongolian with excellent knowledge of English, both written and verbal
  5. Ability to use Microsoft Office programs and update websites using prepared programs
  6. University degree in social sciences or business administration
