Public Address by Arshad Sayed, Country Manager, the World Bank
“Reporting on 4th technical meeting: Private Sector Strategy of Mongolia”
The World Bank Office in Ulaanbaatar has the pleasure to invite you to a Public Lecture by Arshad Sayed, Country Manager and Resident Representative, World Bank in Mongolia. The lecture will address key outcomes and issues from the 4th technical meeting between Government of Mongolia and external partners focussing on private sector strategy of Mongolia.
Mr. Sayed, an Indian national, joined the World Bank’s Corporate Strategy Group, where he led the Bank’s innovation efforts as Team Leader for the Development Marketplace – the globally recognized innovation program. He has worked in the Bank’s sector and country units managing programs on public sector reform and social protection. He was also advisor to the Vice-President for Europe and Central Asia region, developing country and regional strategy. He has been working as Country Manager for Mongolia since August 2006.
Senior international experts from the World Bank will accompany Arshad Sayed to address particular development issues such as mining, infrastructure and private sector etc.
The lecture will be held at the Open Society Forum Conference room on Friday,01 February, at 11:00 AM.
