The Open Society Forum Foundation is a non-governmental organization aimed to promote active engagement of citizens and civil society organizations in civic life. The OSF goals are to create conditions conducive to citizens engagement in policy formulation and implementation monitoring processes, facilitate broad public access to policy relevant information resources, and encourage improved policy research and analysis.

ASSISTANT TO EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Main duty and responsibilities

Assistant to Executive Director will work under the supervision of and serve as a key aide to the Executive Director. Please pick up a detailed job description at the OSF reception desk. 

Qualifications required

  • Excellent organizational, administrative and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in both oral and written English
  • Ability to work effectively  and collaboratively in a team – oriented environment
  • Ability to take initiative and work proactively
  • Flexibility/ wiliness to perform  a variety of tasks and expand the scope of work and responsibilities as needed
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in the use of the technology packages   ( MS word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook  and web browsing and searching for information)
  • University degree with 2 years of relevant work experience
